MEMORIES WILL GO ON
The Music Festival Concert was over, but the memory isn’t. It’ll be remembered, the great team work, the hard work, the great experience, the powerful help, valuable contributions and the brilliant time you had given and we’d had together. There’s no word to describe how thankful you are dear students and our sponsors!
MINI PERFORMANCE FOR OUR VISITORS
Another exciting evening before our Music Festival concert on 28th, we had a group more than 30 students from http://laoeducation.blogspot.com/ (LEOT) that leads by school director and Foreign and Lao teachers. We also have very kind visitors from GoPhilanthropic Foundation (http://gophilanthropic.org/) who support LEOT centre.
It’s a great opportunity to meet these lovely people and introduce MES to them and touring around the school. Then we have our students played some traditional music. After the music, our visitors and students took the opportunities to chat and experience how to play the traditional instruments. It was a quick visit and show but was very fantastic and we had a very good time. Thank you for your visit!

A GUITAR DONATION
Another grade supportive man Behi Blankleyder from Israel came to visit MES last week and fell in love with the school. He personally loves playing the guitar and has been playing it for 10 years, even though he didn’t play it for a while when he attended the army, but as soon as he finished the army he started to play it again. He’s one of the kind and friendly Israel people who’ve visited Luang Prabang and MES. He had a small jam with the free level students. He later came back MES with a colorful and nice guitar in a black guitar case that he just bought a Chinese shop in town for MES. Thank YOU!

SPECIAL AWARD FOR LCCF MINIPROJECT
Congratulations our staff Mr. Bounmee who won the application and received the fund for FOLK SONG BAND PROJECT. He’d spent the fund to buy needed stuff for folk song band, such as a Cajon, a shaker, sound tubes. The folk song project will be performed in public like at night market, or anywhere that gives the opportunities, and welcome any students from the school to show off their talents in public. Also the instruments will be available at MES for every student.
Special thanks again Pha Tad Ke Botanical Garden for such a great organization and big thanks the government of Switzerland through the Lao Culture Challenge Fund for your supports.
SUPPORTIVE PEOPLE
One of our busy week went past very quickly and we had a lovely, supportive visitors Krisztina Kovacs and a friend who had a very few days in Luang Prabang but very keen to share some time at MES. She’s patiently traveled along way from Hungary to Luang Prabang and brought some picks along for MES. Krisztina also has special skills in singing so she didn’t hesitate to share it with the students and the kids had a wonderful time learning with her.
One of our supportive visitor of the week Chiorwo Farnilt and his family from Italy had also joined in the classes, sitting and listening to our students playing the instruments and kindly gave donation.
Thanks you two and family for being so kind and supportive!
