Like every year when the public schools are having their summer holidays, Music for Everyone is very busy all day.

BASI CEREMONY FOR OUR VISITORS

MES Laos hosted visitors Mr Cho Phillip and his six friends from South Korea, with a traditional Basi Ceremony. After the Basic Ceremony all the students, the neighbors were invited for a dinner. Thank you very much Mr Cho Phillip and Mija at Big Tree Cafe who supported and made this event possible, comfortable and fun.

MR CHO PHILLIP MADE DONATION TO MES

We are writing to express our deepest thanks Mr Cho Phillip for your recent donation of $3,000  to Music for Everyone School (MES) and thanks Mija at Big Tree Cafe Laos who made this possible. Generous gifts from donors like you provide the financial and moral support needed to continue our mission.

There is no way to fully express our gratitude for your loyalty. We at Music for Everyone School are continually inspired by the the dedication and generosity of donors like yourself who answer the request to give such supports.

It is our hope that this small gift of post, email and certificate will help to communicate our very big thanks for your generosity. We look forward to a continuing partnership with you.

ACTIVITY WITH A MUSIC TEACHER FROM TAIWAN

Thank you Music Teacher Cheng from Taiwan for sharing your music activities at Music for Everyone School. The students also thank you for the gifts. We hope to see you again next time with some more fun activities.

GREAT DONORS OF 2017

On behalf of Music for Everyone School and the students, I would like to thank you all for you generous donation of $3,906.88.  Your contribution made it possible for MES to continue staying in the building where we are for one year. This is only possible because of thoughtful contributions from people like you.

In 2018, we plan to raise more fund for the rent of year 2019. As you know, the cost of the rent does not go away. We hope for your continued support in the future.

Once again, thank you all for your generous donation.

A DRUM LESSON AND EXERCISE BOOK

GOOD NEWS for MES drum students! We’re working on a drum exercises and putting them in the papers to make a small booklet for our students at MES. The book will allow the students to be able to read music and practice all drum exercises from the book on their own after a very little input from our drum teach.

MES and the team could not make this book happened without great support from Mr. Marc Vincent from France, who’d been spending his few days during his stay in Luang Prabang constructing the students and the staff such ideas of how to play drum. We really thank you from all our hearts for your great supports and wish you all the very best.  Your drum students!!!

DONATION HAS ARRIVED

Fund Donation and Instrument Accessories; ukulele strings, capos and multiple guitar effect pedal has arrived at MES Laos. Much appreciate Trevann Tanthorpe and Harriet Steward – Jones and friends in Poole, England for raising the fund to support MES Laos.  Thank you all very much for sharing your loves and helping many kids here in Laos!

THANK YOU TREVANN FANTHORPE FOR YOUR GREAT WORK

This fundraising event would not have been possible without the generous contributions made by Jonny Phillips, the very musical boys and girls of Cute Roots, and our friend; poet and raconteur, Ledger de la Bald, who all agreed to perform for free – and Ben Jones, who agreed to provide the sounds and the PA and to deal with all things audio-technical! Thanks guys!
